Citlalli Flores Zepeda, a dynamic and visionary business leader, hails from El Grullo, Jalisco, Mexico. Her journey began as a precocious child who entered elementary school at just five years old. Quickly standing out for her exceptional learning abilities and meticulous attention to detail, Citlalli consistently excelled in her academic endeavors. This dedication to excellence carried her through an illustrious educational journey, culminating in a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the prestigious Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), where she graduated with honors.
In 2001, Citlalli embarked on an unexpected professional journey in the United States. Settling in Solano County, she identified a unique opportunity to assist local Mexican entrepreneurs in elevating their business presentations. This insight led to the foundation of Alfa Design Services in 2004, a venture born out of her determination to learn the intricacies of marketing, branding, and product sourcing independently, thereby offering comprehensive and consistent branding solutions to her clients.
Citlalli’s entrepreneurial spirit has driven her to continuously adapt and evolve her business. Rebranded as Alfa Promotions, the company was recognized as a Minority-Owned Business and honored as Business of the Year in 2012 by the Solano Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Citlalli’s impact extended beyond her business, as she played a pivotal role in the board of Federacion Jalisco del Norte de California, significantly enhancing their corporate identity and securing prominent sponsorships.
Her commitment to community service is evident in her founding of Club Soy Puro Grullense. This organization, in collaboration with various levels of the Mexican government, made notable contributions to El Grullo, including the construction of a fire station and fostering cultural exchange through the El Grullo Youth Orchestra’s international trip to Cuba.
In 2015, the enterprise took on a new identity as Alfa Entrepreneurs, under which Citlalli led the Solano Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as president from 2018-2019. Her leadership was instrumental in strengthening the chamber’s foundation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and elevating its position within the community.
Today, Citlalli heads Citlalli Brands, aspiring to be the foremost bilingual branding agency in Solano County. With over 18 years of rich experience in marketing, she has been a guiding force for small businesses, entrepreneurs, corporations, non-profits, and churches, offering comprehensive solutions to a myriad of challenges.
