Why schools need a clear, bilingual brand
Families decide how involved they'll be based on how welcome they feel. A letter they can't read, a flyer that looks careless or an event they never heard about all send the same message: this isn't for us.
Clear school branding helps a school or program speak to every family with the same care. It makes announcements easier to recognize, events easier to find and campaigns easier to remember. For families who prefer Spanish, our Hispanic Market Strategy work makes sure the message feels written for them, not translated as an afterthought.
We also understand how schools work: approvals, district guidelines, fixed calendars and budgets that have to stretch. We plan materials early, follow your guidelines and keep every piece consistent from the first week of school to graduation.
Signs your school's communication needs help
Families don't read your messages
Notices go home, but participation and responses stay low.
Your Spanish is a literal translation
Families can tell when a message wasn't written with them in mind.
Every department looks different
Flyers, calendars and social posts each use their own logo and colors.
Events are hard to find
Parents arrive and can't tell which table, tent or room is yours.
School pride needs a lift
Students and staff don't have materials they actually want to wear or use.
A heritage month or campaign is coming
You have a date and a goal, but no plan for the materials or the message.

Many families in California speak Spanish at home, and they are often eager to support their children's education when they're invited in the right way.
That starts with messages written for them: clear, warm and respectful, with the same information English-speaking families receive. It continues with consistent visuals, so a Spanish flyer is instantly recognizable as coming from your school, and with events where families can find someone who speaks their language.
Citlalli's work with Pacific Oaks College shows how much thoughtful materials can do. Its Hispanic Heritage Month campaigns highlighted Hispanic contributions to the United States in entrepreneurship, civil rights, military service, public leadership and education, and helped increase cultural visibility and representation.
Small details matter too. Using the same names for programs in both languages, offering forms and sign-up pages in Spanish, and placing bilingual signs at events all tell families that their participation is expected and welcome.
Planning materials around the school year
Most school communication follows a calendar: enrollment and orientation, back-to-school nights, heritage months, fundraisers, testing seasons and graduation. Planning materials around those moments, instead of rushing each one, keeps the brand consistent and the budget under control.
We help you map the year, decide which pieces you need in both languages and plan production early, so families see the same school, and the same care, at every step. It also makes it easier to reuse what worked when the next school year begins.
